The Estate has 28 acres of its own beautiful and peaceful private grounds which include full accress to woodlands and meadows. It is wonderfully situated in the heart of the South Hams - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Their are many beautiful beaches; Bigbury and Burgh Island,  Salcombe, Dartmouth, and Blackpool Sands which is a blue flag beach. All around is unspoilt countryside, lovely villages with good family walks and country pubs. 

On this 28 acres Estate of meadows woods and wetlands you can find many peaceful spots where you can read, doze or picnic. The Estate is also home to a variety of wildlife - badgers, foxes rabbits and deer. Ducks and lovely Birds. Bring along your camera for wildlife snaps. If you like to paint this is a perfect retreat. This is a wonderful holiday for families with young children or teenagers. The Estate is absolutely fabulous plus there are so many fun places to visit. Bantham Thurlestone and Hope Cove have the most fabulous coastal NT walks you can see for miles. The South Devon coast is perfect for sailing, windsurfing and body boarding and other water sports, whilst also providing safe sandy beaches for families.

There is a local shop and a good Inn serving both bar meals and resturant meals within easy walking distance.

Doxford Farm is a 500 acre working farm situated amidst undulating, unspoilt wooded countryside, five miles from the coast. We offer comfortable family accommodation in the form of 8 stone built terrace cottages as well as the farmhouse annexe.

The farm has both arable and livestock enterprises and supports various conservation and environmental stewardship schemes. The cottages are located at the end of a no-through road, thus creating a safe and quiet environment for our guests. The lake holds brown trout and our guests are welcome to fly fish by arrangement with the estate manager. We have five miles of wooded and lakeside walks and trails for our guests to explore the farm and our diverse wildlife.

 We have 9 Self catering farm cottages, all 3 to 4 star. All cottages are well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezers and microwaves. There is a communal washing room equipped with an additional washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen is provided but we ask you to bring your own towels (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). Electricity is supplied by a pound coin meter, found above each front door (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). The cottages have a private water supply from a natural spring and parking is available adjacent to each cottage.

Northside Cottage - This cottage is North facing with its own garden. There are three bedrooms comprising of a double, a twin and a large bedroom with a double and a single bed. The bathroom is upstairs with a bath and shower overhead. The sitting room is comfortable with an open fire with flat screen TV and DVD player with Freeview . There is a separate dining room leading to a well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Award Winning Oakpond Cottages are situated near Whitchurch.  There are two cottages: Oakpond and Oaktree.  They are both warm and cosy with fantastic views over the Shropshire countryside as well as the wildlife around the pond. The cottages are ideal for couples and families who just want peace and tranquility.

Oakpond Cottage is hidden in the 103 acres of Shropshire farmland on which we farm and graze cattle. On approaching the cottage down its own private lane, which is only shared with the owners, you will be greeted by the pheasants which roam on the garden and Macey the farm dog. When you step inside the cottage, sit down and enjoy the views of the pond and its wildlife, with a tempting home-made cake (made with free range eggs from the Oakpond hens). Wake up in the mornings and go for a stroll around the fields and see how many birds you can spot as well as the rabbits and badgers and then collect your own eggs from the straw boxes and have a real Shropshire breakfast.

Set in over two acres of delightful private grounds with sea views and gracious accommodation. The rare red kite can frequently been seen flying over the House.  Equidistant (about 4 mls) between two fabulous safe, sandy beaches, children love the numerous rockpools and caves to explore.

Within walking distance of the sea at charming, Ceibwr Bay a local beauty spot and the famous Coastal Path with its stunning cliff top views and fantastic rock formations. There are frequent sitings of dolphins, seals, porpoises, basking sharks, and even whales and turtle at times. This part of the coastline boasts the most wonderful scenery of the county.

Locally there are numerous sports and activities, with castles, historical sites, galleries, restaurants, bars and shops to explore.  Within 3 mls are two fabulous sandy beaches with rock pools, caves and vast expanses of sand with safe bathing and easy vehicular access which makes Hafod Grove the perfect destination for family and friends, holidays, reunions and celebrations.

Sandpipers

Sandpipers is a spacious 200 year old cottage on the edge of Tunstall, a quiet location close to the Heritage coastline. With a king-sized bed in bedroom 1 and twin beds in rooms 2 and 3 the cottage sleeps 6 people comfortably - a futon can be provided for a 7th person if needed.  

The large living room has an open fire and a view of the pretty front garden. There is a separate dining room and well equipped kitchen.  There are large enclosed mature gardens in front and back, with off street parking in the front driveway. Visitors are welcome to help themselves to fresh herbs (and fruit in season) from the back garden.

The cottage offers good value and is available for short breaks; weekends and mid-week breaks.
