Doxford House - sleeps 8 in the north of England - plus additional smaller cottages

This is the original farmhouse of Doxford Home Farm; this exceptionally spacious house offers the very last word in gracious living, making a wonderful base for those requiring comfort, tranquility and style. There is a large drawing room with an open fire, a sitting room and a garden room. All three rooms have open views, comfortable seating and superb fixtures and fittings. As with all the cottages at Doxford there is masses of books and good quality pictures and prints.

The large farmhouse kitchen is superbly equipped with granite worktops and a full range of modern equipment, including an American style fridge and range cooker. The barn is spacious and attractively furnished. The kitchen/breakfast room has a beautiful oak floor and is very well equipped. There is an open plan feel to the living areas downstairs with the oak flooring continuing into the sitting room. This is a very comfortable room with a wood burning stove. Downstairs is a twin bedded room, the beds can linked to make a six foot double. There is also a stylish modern bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a simply stunning bedroom with a five foot king-size bed and an additional full size single with an ensuite shower room. The Gate House is a detached one bedroom barn situated on the outskirts of Bath accommodating 1 to 6 people. Equipped as self-catering accommodation, it is spacious and modern whilst retaining many of the orginal wooden beams.
